The EULETA Teacher Network Meetings take place on the last Monday of each month and are organized exclusively for EULETA members. Each session focuses on a topic related to legal English instruction. We talk about how to improve our legal English teaching and share ideas, experience, and resources. Come join us!

The next meeting will be on 26 January 2026, from 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm CET.

Thanks to member suggestions, the next Teacher Network Meeting topic is “Show and Tell: How Do You Teach Contracts?”

Perhaps more than any other area of the law, commercial transactions put lawyers from different countries in the same room. And while not always the official language of the final draft, English is commonly used in the negotiation of international contracts.

As such, contracts provide a great opportunity to explore vocabulary, grammar, skills-building, and critical thinking. Do you teach drafting? Do you teach interpretation? If so, you probably have an exercise you are particularly proud of. Bring it. Come prepared with something to share and leave with a box full of new tools!

Registration closes on January 25, 2026.

After you register you will receive a confirmation email (check your spam). If you do not receive this, it means you are not registered correctly and you should contact us.

We will send out a Zoom link on the day of the event.

If you have any questions about this event, please direct them to Aaron Harmon (internal@euleta.org).
