About
EULETA’s membership comprises many people working in different capacities in legal English, including lawyers, linguists, translators, legal English trainers for professionals, and legal English university professors. This workshop, co-organised by the Jagiellonian Language Centre and EULETA, aims to bring our diverse members together to share and explore new practical ways to combine our expertise to improve our legal English teaching.
Presentations may be on any topic related to the teaching of legal English, including in-house, language school, university-level, one-to-one, online, or any other platform for legal English teaching, coaching, or testing. Topics may also include legal linguistics, legal drafting, translation and interpretation, or ESP/EAP, and different areas of specialised language teaching, as long as there is a clear and practical connection to the field of legal English teaching.
We invite proposals for sessions in one of the following formats:
● 30-minute session: A focused 20-minute presentation followed by 10 minutes of discussion and Q&A.
● 45-minute session: A 35-minute session plus 10 minutes of discussion and Q&A intended for more interactive or hands-on formats.
