The
EULETA Teacher Network Meetings take place on the last Monday of each month and are organized
exclusively for EULETA members. Each session focuses on a topic related to legal English instruction. We talk about how to improve our legal English teaching and share ideas, experience, and resources. Come join us!
Next event
The next Teacher Network Meeting will be on Monday 25 May 2026, from 8 pm to 9 pm CEST (Paris).
Topic
This month, the topic will be:
“Lesson Sequencing: How Do You Structure Your Lessons to Scaffold Learning?”
Students need enough exposure to new information so that they feel challenged and inspired to grow. But too much at once can have the opposite effect.
Effective lessons weave familiar information with new concepts, guiding the student through the learning experience by building on the foundation of what has come before. The most well-designed lessons mirror this trajectory both within a single lesson and across a group of lessons.
So what is your lesson design secret? How do you keep students motivated and empowered through a larger unit of learning? How do you design individual sessions to further your overall goals?
Bring materials from one of your recent (or favourite) lessons. Walk us through the sequence of activities you use, from the opening activity to the final stage.
Leave with a toolbox full of new options!
